MTI Insider
This is the place where you can come to see what's going on "inside" MTI. We want to share our family news with you. Why? Because MTI is about people, and it always has been.
In fact, MTI is employee-owned, which is a rare occurrence in today's business world. This ownership means that employees have a real "stake in the game". And that vested interest fosters important attributes such as dedication, diligence, conscientiousness and pride in workmanship. And these qualities result in high productivity, world-class quality products, expert assistance, excellent customer service and delivering on promises. It's more than a job; it's personal.
MTI takes the people aspect very seriously. In fact, every year multiple strategic planning sessions are held. Each session is comprised of a small group of employees that includes production workers, office employees and upper management. Led by MTI's CEO Kathy Adams, the purpose is to increase vertical and horizontal communication, share ideas, review company status, plan for the future and get to know each other better. And yes, even have some fun!

Yes, that's right. MTI not only makes tubs; MTI grows vegetables! A group of employees thought that we should plant a "victory over the recession" garden. So we did. Everyone pitched in, and the harvest was huge!
