PR_SavoyATLANTA, Ga. (May 16, 2011) – MTI introduces its 21st century spin on a classic.

The freestanding Savoy is a slipper tub that cradles your upper body as you lean back. It is based on the 19th century slipper design, so named because of its shape. The tub features a raised backrest. Originally, tubs of this style were made of cast iron and lined with porcelain.

The Savoy, however, is made of MTI’s Engineered Solid-Surface material, a poured mixture of organic minerals and binding agents that looks and feels like natural stone. The backrest is contoured vertically, horizontally, and diagonally to comfortably caress the body.

The Savoy is 65″ x 34.325″ x 31.5″. It is available in white or biscuit matte finish or in gloss finishes of white, biscuit, osprey or raven. When specified with a pedestal base, it can be equipped as an air bath.
