Creating a House That Is a Home; A Place Where Life Happens.
As the owner of a self-named nationwide design firm and a mom of four, Elizabeth Ferguson is a talented professional who designs for “real life” and relies on schedules and budgets to get things done. Her goal is to create a timeless space and an authentic environment that reflects the needs and lifestyle of her clients.

Based in Newnan, Georgia, Elizabeth “Buffy” is a holistic designer whose portfolio includes residential, commercial and boutique hospitality projects. Her firm specializes in designing homes from concept through completion and working in consulting capacities with owners and builders. She recently played a key role in the 2021 Home for the Holiday’s Designer Showhouse for Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine. As the specification designer for the 12,000 square foot home and pavillion, these selections included tubs and sinks, flooring, paint, countertops, appliances and lighting. She loved collaborating with the project vendors and particularly enjoyed her relationship with MTI.

“I discovered their Parisian tub in a matte finish – it is so chic and timeless, and a tub I will use over and over again for future projects,” she said. “I was going for a clean look in the master bathroom with a traditional warmth. The Parisan has strong modern lines with classic touches reminiscent of the early 1900's. I love how the tub blends contemporary with traditional, not to mention the coordinating MTI sinks too.”

Elizabeth most appreciates working with the people at MTI. “Michael Kornowa was outstanding. He was willing to spend time walking me through product options. He helped me select a tub that made the project and a tub that is my new favorite! MTI offers a more elevated product design, and they share my mantra of “form + function” as the key to great design. Michael helped make it happen, and I am so thankful for that.”

"My job is a success if you don’t know what year the house was built. Timeless!"
