(Sugar Hill GA – August 10, 2016) Living large in small spaces is one of the biggest trends in the home design industry. From compact New York lofts to cozy beach bungalows, today’s homes are getting smaller. Even celebrities are giving up their mega mansions and discovering the pleasure of imbuing small spaces with their own personal style. Designers are responding to this trend by re-thinking proportions and making smart use of every square inch.
MTI Baths advocates the smaller-is-better trend by unveiling a compact version of one of its most popular freestanding tubs. The original, graceful Juliet was created by Atlanta-based interior designer Audrey Newsome and has won multiple design awards. As part of MTI’s Boutique Collection, the new Juliet 2 offers a minimalist look that is decidedly modern yet slightly smaller and more narrow than its sister tub. The Juliet 2 brings full-scale luxury to smaller spaces without skimping on comfort or style. Its gentle slopes provide an immersive soaking experience, while its asymmetrical design offers a versatility that easily moves between traditional and contemporary décors.
Manufactured in MTI’s proprietary, organic Engineered Solid Stone®*, the Juliet 2 measures a neat 66” x 29”. The tub is available as a soaker or air bath and features an integral pedestal and integrated slotted overflow with a chrome toe-tap drain. The Juliet 2 is available in white or biscuit with a matte or high gloss finish, as well as coordinating basins, tub table, faucet stand and floor-mounted tub filler.
