Hotel Indigo Atlanta from renowned architect John Portman is a tribute to Atlanta. This is an adaptive reuse of existing office space turned into a beautiful boutique hotel. Throughout the hotel are the architectural designs and artwork of Mr. Portman himself. The hotel reflects aspects of some of the best design features from a couple of his other Atlanta projects.
The experience begins as you enter the hotel past Mr. Portman’s incredible sculpture “Belle”, inspired by the movie “Gone With the Wind” and continues past the stunning floating glass and steel staircase that takes you to the elegantly designed guest rooms. The result is remarkable architecture and art that subtly tells the story of Atlanta.
Each Indigo hotel is as unique as the cities in which they are located. No two Indigo hotels are the alike, and each property reflects the vibrancy of the city it calls home. This uniqueness is reflected in the design and culinary offerings of the restaurants in each property.
