Along the southern end of New York City’s Central Park resides a collection of ultra-luxury residential towers, referred to as Billionaires’ Row. Central Park Tower, the tallest residential building in the world, is situated on Billionaires’ Row and is scheduled for completion in late 2021 following a six-year construction build. Central Park Tower tops out at 1,550 feet (131 floors) and contains a 7-story flagship Nordstrom’s. Designed and developed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture and Extell Development Company, Central Park Tower’s mirrored facade features elaborate cantilevers and a massive weighting system on the roof to prevent it from swaying in the wind. It is truly a remarkable landmark and impressive addition to the Manhattan skyline.
Just inside this soaring skyscraper, expansive views await from floor-to-ceiling windows. Bespoke interiors were mostly designed by Rottet Studio and are accentuated by imported stone, custom millwork and premium fixtures and finishes. The primary bath proudly features an MTI Collection SculptureStone® Alissa freestanding bath to complement the luxurious details. Residential amenities include access to the exclusive 100th floor Central Park Club, offering a five-star dining room, private ballroom, bar and kitchen staffed by Michelin-star chefs. A swimming pool, outdoor playground, fitness and spa amenities await on floors 14-16. Current listings range from $6,500,000 to $65,750,000. In June 2021, a mystery buyer purchased the 60th and 61st floors of CPT for more than $157,000,000 - one of the biggest real estate transactions ever. Speechless is an understatement for the giant that is Central Park Tower.
